Just as a sidenote for future. On the spreadsheet, we cannot have ‘other’ as a selection for marital status. There were two people that had other on this group, so they were changed to single.
This is an argument I’ve had with corporate for a while. I don’t think it should be an option if we don’t allow it. Sorry for the inconvenience. I just wanted you to be aware so that you have your copy correct.
One more thing. If someone is waiving all coverages (for whatever coverages the group is offering), we ONLY need, first name, last name and reason they are waiving. You don’t need any of the other columns completed. If they are completed and the person is waiving, it will error out in the file that feeds over to our system. So basically, if they are waiving, I delete any of the other information that may be on the spreadsheet for the person waiving. That may help you in the future.
I hope that helps! J And for the record, I know I’ve told you this before, you send in groups almost perfect each time and I appreciate it so much because it helps it go through faster on this side. So please don’t take this as criticism. I’m hoping it helps your process in the future.
Thanks,
Melanie
