RATE FACTORY
Rate Factory quotes the three oldest children under the age of 21, however, United Healthcare only charges for the two oldest children under the age of 21.
When quoting groups with more than two children under the age of 21, you must run quotes through SAM, and override the rates on the Rate Factory Spreadsheet.
Note: Unselected riders in old United Healthcare quoting system = SAM
EASE
When generating the cost per pay period, Ease takes into account the rates for the three oldest children under age 21. Since United Healthcare only charges for the 2 youngest children under age 21, the Ease system needs to be set-up to calculate that.
Note: The only way to manipulate the system is to set up a separate eligibility/contribution for each employee with more than two children under the age of 21.
